Fairfax County Police are investigating the death of a man found in a drainage ditch in a wooded area near the 7500 block of Vernon Square Drive. They responded to a call reporting an unresponsive male around 1:27 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13. It’s believed the man was in his 30s.
Police have not released the dead man’s name, since they’re waiting on the medical examiner’s office to make a positive identification. That office will also make a call as to the cause and manner of the man’s death.
