On Saturday, Dec. 5, Carter Egbers will be collecting new or gently-used blankets and coats to send to Syrian Refugee camps. He has already started collecting (above) from friends, family and strangers in the community. Recently, a couple walked into his church and dropped off 40 new blankets and 40 new children's coats. The drop-off location is at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Centreville Virginia Stake, 14150 Upper Ridge Drive in Centreville, behind the McDonald’s on Route 28. Volunteers will be there from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
