One day after Fairfax County Police reported finding the victim of an apparent homicide in Huntington Park, they identified the dead middle-aged man as Khalid Aboumalik, 42, with no permanent address in Fairfax County.
Aboumalik’s dead body was found and reported by residents walking through the area around 7 o’clock in the morning on Aug. 5. Police said he had “apparent wounds and significant trauma to the upper body.”
An investigation is continuing, and the Office of the Medical Examiner has yet to announce a cause and manner of death in the case.
