To the Editor:
I have heard Barbara Comstock speak and have read her well-written campaign materials. She impresses me as bright, energetic, experienced and personable. But as I have learned more about her support for forced trans-vaginal ultrasound of pregnant women I have come to question who she really is. What kind of a person, especially a "conservative," supports such extreme government intrusion? Or supports the state intervening in the patient-provider relationship by mandating (unfunded and sometimes dangerous) medical procedures? The questions are not only about the civility of the procedure, but more importantly about Ms. Comstock's mentality of coercion. How will it reappear if she is a member of the Congress?
