To the Editor:
The recent revelations of Barbara Comstock’s failure to disclose her paid lobbyist role and income from out-of-state special interest groups are no surprise. Ms. Comstock was elected and paid to be a representative of Northern Virginians. Instead, she took thousands of dollars to introduce bills essentially written by the so-called Workforce Fairness Institute.
Comstock has hidden her record in Richmond for the last four years. Now we can better understand her motivations. It was good business for Comstock to do the bidding of her client and ignore her constituents.
It is time for voters to fire her from her government job. Wonder if she will still be wanted by her “private” clients.
