Volunteers Needed for Reston Relay Triathlon
This race is a USA Triathlon (USAT) certified race. The inaugural event will take place on June 22.
The purpose of the race is to introduce athletes to the sport of triathlon, without the daunting task of having to be proficient in each of the three disciplines.
It is also to encourage families, friends and co-workers to participate in an event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and camaraderie. To facilitate such a race, volunteers are an essential part. Whether you want to give back to the community or cheer on friends, volunteering is a great way to be involved. There are a number of positions that need to be filled to accommodate both the overall race and the actual participants. This is over and above the support of any specific team. Please review the list and then go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F45A9AD28A31-reston1. It is important that you do this before the race day.
Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, breakfast and participation in a feel good event.
