Arlington The Arlington County Board approved a $644,127 contract on June 17 to reposition and reconstruct the tot and youth playgrounds, and to rebuild the basketball court at Woodstock Park. This three-quarter acre park stretches from N. Woodstock to N. Vermont Streets in Arlington.
The board voted 5-0 to approve the contract with Fort Myer Construction Corporation for playground equipment, a new basketball court, safety surfacing; site furnishings; fencing; above-and- below-grade site improvements; site drainage; accessible paving, and enhanced plantings.
The project is funded with a FY 2012 and FY2013 Parks Maintenance Capital funding.
