Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Alexandria and Lorton, Va. will host A New Year’s Eve State of Mind Benefit Gala on Tues., Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Waterford at Springfield at 6715 Commerce Street, Springfield. The family-fun gala will provide entertainment for the whole family. Tickets are $120 per adult for ages 21 years old and older; $79 for youths, 13 years old to 20 years old; $49 for children, 6 years old to 12 years old; and 5 years old and younger are free. Cost includes cabaret performances, live band, pre-dinner reception, holiday buffet, silent auction, dessert buffet, New Year’s Eve toast, party favors and all beverages. All children and teens must be accompanied by an adult. Attire is semi-formal. All proceeds go toward the Metropolitan School of the Arts Scholarship Fund. Corporate and event sponsorships are available for purchase.
"Our New Year’s Eve Gala will not only entertain with a festive cabaret, but the event is a great support for those talented performing arts students in need of scholarships," said Melissa Dobbs, founder and president of Metropolitan School of the Arts Alexandria and Lorton.
