The 24th annual West Potomac Choirs spring original show will be held this week, Thursday May 30; Friday, May 31; and June 1, at 7 p.m. in the Springbank Auditorium. The fast-paced program is filled with favorite standards as well as recent pop hits.

In addition to the nearly 100 choir members at West Potomac there will be special guests that include elementary students from schools which feed into WPHS; singers from Carl Sandburg intermediate, and WPHS faculty members.

“Playlist” opens with On the Road — songs to listen for taking a road trip. This is followed with Date Night, Break -Up, Dance Party, Rainy Day, and Summertime playlists. The show is directed and accompanied by Ernest Johnson, WPHS choral director, and choreographed by Gennifer Defilippo, dance instructor for the WPHS dance team.

Tickets purchased in advance are $10 each (purchase online at www.Westpotomacchoirs.org), and are $12 at the door. For Thursday night performance only, all student tickets (K-12) are $5 each.
