The Woman’s Club of McLean at its June 4 meeting presented a check for $1,000 to Karla Barnes, reading specialist at Fairfax County’s Lemon Road Elementary School, for use in the school’s reading program. Barnes expressed her gratitude and that of the school’s staff for this and previous donations by the club to the reading program.
