The South County Federation held its annual Lorton Independence Day Parade and Celebration on July 4th down Lorton Station Boulevard with festivities ending at Lorton Station Town Center. The Grand Marshall of the parade was Marvin “Shep” Crow. Some of the donors this year were Davis Industries, Sentara and INOVA Healthcare as well as American Legion Post 162, South County Cares and the South County Chamber of Commerce.
