Centreville — Chantilly Academy AFJROTC cadet and Fairfax High School senior Naadia Puri received an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. She will start school at the Naval Academy in June. Puri plans to complete her four years at the USNA and then be commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy. Only the top 7 percent of the 20,000 plus applicants are accepted. The value of a USNA scholarship is about $350,000.
