Arlington — Nearly 50 people gathered on the Arlington County Courthouse Plaza on Thursday morning, Valentine’s Day, for a rally in support of marriage equality in Virginia. The rally was organized by the People of Faith for Equality in Virginia and Equality Virginia and supported by: Clarendon Presbyterian Church, Arlington; Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ, Arlington; Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington; Rabbi Lia Bass, Congregation Etz Hayim, Arlington; Congregation Kol Ami, Arlington; Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia, Fairfax; Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, Oakton; Rabbi Jack Moline, Agudas Achim Congregation, Alexandria, and Hope United Church of Christ.
