Mount Vernon — The trucks pulled into the parking lot at the Belle View Shopping center early Saturday morning, Nov. 24, laden with Fraser firs, wreaths and garlands. Mount Vernon Kiwanis members spent the morning, sorting trees by size and setting up for the annual tree sale. All proceeds of the sales support local charities and schools in the Mount Vernon area.
