Mount Vernon — The West Potomac dance team performed to the music of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” during the halftime show during the football game against T.C. Williams on Friday night, Nov. 2. Friday night was also Senior Night and eight seniors on the dance team choreographed the performance. In addition to performing, the team members have been volunteering since August with the Fort Hunt youth football dance team. The West Potomac team works weekly with the youth squad teaching them dance to perform at halftime during the youth football games. The team will be competing this coming February in Ocean City for Reach the Beach Nationals.
