Alexandria Hometown Title and Escrow, LLC celebrated the opening of its new offices in Courthouse Square Sept. 21 with a reception that also marked the announcement that Kellye Curtis Clarke has joined the company as partner and branch manager of the Alexandria office.
“It's exciting for me to join HT&E,” said Clarke, a George Mason University School of Law graduate with more than 15 years of experience in real estate law and the title/settlement industry. “I am excited about the opportunity to provide stellar customer service in a boutique office setting that provides a personal commitment throughout each transaction.”
Clarke has worked in various aspects of the real estate industry for the last 15 years, including the last 12 as branch manager of a regional title company. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Lee F. Satterfield, Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Superior Court.
A graduate of Leadership Fairfax and a volunteer for Inova Fairfax/Alexandria Chapter of Mended Hearts, Clarke has held leadership positions in the mandatory bar and in various specialty bars in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She currently serves as the vice-chair of the Residential, Multi-Family and Special Use Group for the American Bar Association, Real Property Trust and Estate Section. Clarke also serves on the Diversity Committee and the Task Force for Government Submissions.
