Yorktown Band Chili Cook Off
A dozen plus pots filled with chili filled the tables in the cafeteria for the Chili Cook-Off and spring sale on Saturday, May 5.

Members of the Yorktown band entertained the chili cooks and guests with a few sets of jazz, the 4th grade chorus from Tuckahoe Elementary School sang a few numbers from their upcoming spring concert and Dr. Raymond Pasi, Brian Bersh and JD Slaughter judged the chili entries. Entries were judged on aroma, consistency, taste and aftertaste.
Dylan Finnegan and Natalie Little were both awarded "Best Chili in Yorktown." "People’s Choice Award" was presented to Team Portofino and Team Haring. All proceeds from the cook-off and the spring sale go to support the Yorktown Bands.
