Mr. and Mrs. Dennis S. Lewis of Great Falls have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ann Elizabeth Lewis to Richard Timothy Wand of Ilfracombe, Devon, England. Ann and Richard will be married in Devon this August and celebrate stateside with a pre-wedding reception in June at her parents’ home in Great Falls.
Ann is a graduate of Langley High School in McLean, class of 2001 and attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., where she received her BA degree in Education. Ann completed her Masters degree in European Anthropology at the University of Sussex near Brighton, England and is currently working on her PhD in European Anthropology at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
Richard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Wand of Ilfracombe, Devon, England. Richard completed his secondary education at Ilfracombe College in 2000. Richard received his undergraduate degree in Music and Theological Studies at Nexus Academy of Music Ministry in Coventry, England before attending the University of the West of England in Bristol, England where he earned a BSc (Honors) in Music Systems Engineering. Richard currently serves as a systems engineer for Solid State Logic Corporation headquartered in Oxford, England.
Ann and Richard will honeymoon in Crete following their August wedding and reside in Oxford, England.
