Alexandria — Thelma T Thompson of Venice, Fla. formerly of Alexandria, died Monday, June 11, 2012.
Born Oct. 4, 1921, she was raised in Alexandria, graduated high school here and went on to work and retire from The Federal Communications Commission in June 1974.
She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Thompson and sister Marian T. Clausen.
Survivors include her sister Elton “Ellie” T. Randell, several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
