What is the best thing about living in Clifton?
"My favorite thing about living in Clifton is the big properties, so there’s so much room to run around and have parties. Having shops downtown in Clifton like Peterson’s and the General store just to hangout at is great."

"I like the big yards with the woods, and all of the stores down in the town of Clifton."

"I really love the community feel. Clifton is this little Brigadoon in Fairfax County. I like the fact that there is a lot of land and green space, but also a central town that we can call Main Street. As a person who works from home, I like that there are a lot of people in the area who work from home as well. It’s also just a great place to raise kids."
Paul Meyer, Business Consultant,
Resident 13 years
"I like that it’s isolated from the bustle of Fairfax County, but still in close proximity to what Fairfax has to offer. I like living in a quiet neighborhood."
Carys Meyer, rising senior at Robinson Secondary,
Resident 13 years
"I love the people who live in Clifton because they care about their community and are interested in making it a better place. They’re supportive of the needs of our kids. The area is so beautiful. No matter what time of year it is, you’re always overcome by the beauty. As for the county, I enjoy the cultural diversity. The world has come to us. We can meet people from all over the world right in our backyard."
Kari Meyer, stay-at-home mom,
Resident 13 years
"My favorite thing about Clifton is walking around and being able to talk to people. People around here are always willing to help and are always really nice. Especially if you’re walking around Main Street in the small town area, I don’t know how to give a good example, but if you’re having troubles with your car or something people are always around to help you. Clifton is really big but it’s also a very tight knit community because you’re kind of separated from Fairfax and Burke and all those places, so you become really close with the people who are around Clifton."
Jason Focarino, senior at Robinson Secondary School
