Rosslyn Farmers Market. Thursdays, through Oct. 20. Located across the street from Cupid’s Garden Sculpture. Fresh foods and goods from regional vendors including bread and pastries, farm-fresh and organic produce, herbs and spices, exotic teas and specialty coffees, gourmet baked goods, and marinades and sauces. Monday Properties returns as a Rosslyn Farmers Market sponsor.
Clarendon Farmers Market. Year-round, has locally produced breads and pastries, organic vegetables, flowers, soap, sorbet and more. This is a 'producer only' market with more than 30 producers. Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, year round. No dogs are allowed in the market.
Ballston Farmers Market. At Welburn Square Thursdays from 3-7 p.m. until October. Returning this year: Great Harvest Bread Company, Two Belle's Southern Pound Cakes and Gonzales Produce. Newcomers include Pleasant Pops and Milk Crate Bakery. Featuring live music every Thursday.

Andrew Thomas Huang’s recent award winning work ‘Solipsist’ will be displayed on the Artisphere’s video wall through August 26. The work has been described as “an explosion of image and sound, combining the movement of the human body with cutting edge graphic techniques to create a work that is a celebration of color and movement that is both exuberant and haunting. Heather Day: Onsite Painting Residency. Heather Day creates paintings that explore the relationships between urban decay and human interaction through the layering of texture, color and various mediums. At the Works in Progress Gallery at the Artisphere.
Robin Bell: Projections for Television. 4-11 p.m. weekdays; Noon - 11 p.m. Saturday; noon - 5 p.m. Sunday. Robin Bell is a multimedia artist based in Washington D.C. Beyond the Parking Lot: The Change and Re-assessment of our Modern Landscape. This exhibit shows contemporary landscapes, by artists who are observing changes in our nation’s parking lots and buildings, exposing the use of the environment in compromising ways and will instigate the discussion of “where do we go from here?” Exhibiting artists include Amanda Burnham, Maya Ciarrocchi, Julia Christensen, Richard Crozier, Frank Hallam Day, Gregory Euclide, Alex Lukas, Rachel Sitkin, and Trevor Young. Beth Baldwin: Artist in Residence. Artisphere selected local artist Beth Baldwin for a six month artist-in-residency through November 2012. Baldwin will create her one-of-a-kind animals and houses made from recycled materials in full view of the public eye.
