Alexandria — SHERLOCK TO VANDERBILT
Daniel Sherlock has been accepted for the master’s program in special education at Vanderbilt University. Daniel worked for years for the therapeutic recreation program here in Alexandria, as a result of which he developed his interest in the work.

A Park Road foursome who have been playing bridge for about 30 years witnessed an unusual feat last week. Doreen Johnson bid and made seven no-trump vulnerable. We have all made that contract from time to time; the hard part is bidding it. Doreen reached the bid using the Blackwood Convention.
