Playing in bone-chilling wind and rain on April 8, the visiting T.C. Williams girls lacrosse team capped a hectic week and improved their overall season record to 4-3 with a victory against Lee, 16-3. The Lady Titans, who controlled the game from the first draw, were playing their third game in five days. They finished the week 2-1 after a 17-1 victory against Wakefield on Monday and an 18-5 loss to West Springfield on Wednesday. This Patriot District victory against Lee (3-4) also means the team has equaled its overall win total from the entire 2010 season with four regular season games yet to be played in 2011.
The Titans will host South County at 7:15 p.m. on April 14 and travel to face Woodson at 7:15 p.m. on April 15.
According to LaxPower.com as of April 9, the Titans are currently ranked sixth in the Patriot District and 41st in Virginia.
