The Clifton Elementary School Student Council recently sponsored a drive for baby supplies and adult hygiene items to support the Katherine K. Hanley Family Shelter. The three-week drive yielded cases of diapers, wipes, shampoo, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste and more. At any given time, the shelter has 20 children under the age of 4 and is in constant need of baby supplies. The SCA collected, sorted, boxed and delivered the supplies to the shelter. John Callahan, the community coordinator, met the student council members after the delivery and discussed the shelter, its purpose and mission, with the students.
