<b>Bishop Ireton Football Improves to 5-2</b>
The Bishop Ireton football team defeated St. Christopher’s, 17-7, on Saturday.
Bishop Ireton’s Michael Larrabee broke a 7-all tie with a 29-yard field goal in the third quarter, then scored on a 33-yard run later in the period.
For the game, Larrabee completed 14 of 23 passes for 130 yards.
Mark Holmes scored the Cardinals’ first touchdown on a 28-yard pass from Oliver Noon in the second quarter. Doug Vines led the Cardinals with 51 yards on 13 carries.
Bishop Ireton (5-2) travels to play Sidwell Friends on Saturday.
