</b>Community Chaplain Orientation. 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Fairfax County Government Center. This is for clergy interested in learning more about this initiative and to begin their Chaplain training. Community Chaplain candidates will be required to attend the “Assisting Individuals in Crisis” class on Jan. 11 and 12 and the “Pastoral Crisis Counseling” class on March 3 and 4. Both classes are certification courses and will be taught by an International Critical Incident Stress Foundation certified instructor. “Psychological First Aid” will be offered later in the spring with instructors from the Falls Church/Fairfax Community Services Board and the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services.
