Air Force Airman Robert A. Perry graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Perry is the son of Sharon Perry of Whitlow Place, Chantilly. The airman is a 2005 graduate of Chantilly High School.

He is the son of Marcelo Lopez of Mossy Brook Square, Ashburn, and Cecilia Mendoza of Laura Ratcliff Court, Centreville.
The airman is a 2007 graduate of Centreville High School.
Army National Guard Pfc. Neil A. Sittner has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Sittner is the son of Janet Sittner of Oak Hill Road, Delaplane, Va., and grandson of Vivian Rigney of Village Drive, Fairfax.
The private graduated in 2007 from Fauquier High School, Warrenton.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Nicholas M. Jones has arrived for duty at Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, N.M. Jones, an aircraft electrical and environmental systems apprentice, is assigned to the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Squadron. He has served in the military for less than one year. He is the son of Dana L. and stepson of Robert H. Roberson of Chantilly.
Army Spec. Jeremiah C. Andrews has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Linda and Levi Andrews of Custom House Court, Fairfax. Andrews graduated in 2003 from Chantilly High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2008 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg.
