Muhtadi Signs with Packers
Former T.C. Williams and University of Maryland football player Dean Muhtadi went undrafted in the NFL Draft two weeks ago, but was recently signed by the Green Bay Packers as a free agent. He is currently listed on their active roster.
A defensive lineman in both high school and college, Muhtadi was named first team all-Patriot District during his senior season at T.C. Williams in 2003. He then played two seasons at Christopher Newport University before transferring to Maryland. During his two years in College Park, Md., Muhtadi saw action in 19 games. He was tied for third on the team in sacks as a senior, while earning academic all-ACC honors.
