The Del Ray Artisans is accepting entries for Revenge of the Sequel, its September 2009 art show. For this show, the artist is creating the concept and image of a sequel to any movie (underground, mainstream, etc.), play, book, opera, television show, a sequel of sequel, or whatever may lend itself to becoming a sequel. Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery announces the opening of the juried show "Moons, Stars and Sky" on Tuesday, June 2. The artists join in the celebration of the summer solstice. Jewelry, sculpture, clothing, and wall pieces are some of the items that will be exhibited. The show will close on July 5. The gallery is located in Studio 18 of the Torpedo Factory Art Center at 105 North Union Street in Old Town Alexandria on the waterfront.
