Tom Welle, preschool special education teacher at Waples Mill Elementary, is pleased to announce the engagement of his daughter Lauren Welle to William Leonard. Lauren, also the daughter of the late Noreen Welle, graduated from Radford University and is a preschool special education teacher in Fairfax County. William, son of Oliver Leonard of Gloucester, Va. and Judy Leonard of Port Deposit, Md., also graduated from Radford University and is a software engineer in Ashburn. A wedding is being planned for August 2010 after the couple returns from Germany.
