The Western Fairfax County Woman’s Club is selling 2008 White House Christmas ornaments. This year’s ornament honors the 23rd President, Benjamin Harrison.
President Harrison had the idea of putting a Christmas tree for his grandchildren upstairs at the White House, and that is the focus of this year’s ornament. The lovely gold finished tree ornament commemorates the first recorded tree to decorate the White House. The tree is laden with baubles and garland and has the grandchildren’s presents beneath it. It is just beautiful for gift giving and as a keepsake.
The cost of the ornament is $18, and all profits go to charity. Orders may be placed through any club member or by calling 703-378-6841 or 703-378-6216. If you should want to order any previous years’ ornaments, just ask about that when you call to place your order.
