Illusionist and Centreville resident Dean Carnegie will be appearing at the National Theater in the District on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. He and his partner Denise will be facing a number of Houdini-like escape challenges. These include an escape from a torture device called thumbscrews, a challenge rope tie escape, and one surprise escape to close the show. In addition, there will be plenty of magic, mind reading and other mysteries to make the night a very enjoyable one.
