Rachel B. Collins, of Alexandria, has won “The Old Forge Hardware Award” for her painting “Vertebra Trio.” The award was given by The Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Pattama M. Intavong, a 1998 graduate of T. C. Williams High School, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Army Pvt. Tami T. Hansen has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Linda Adawe of Alexandria. Hansen is a 1990 graduate of T.C. Williams High School.
Army National Guard Pvt. Juan Parducci has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Parducci is the son of Juan Parducci and Florentina Chavarria of Alexandria and a 2007 graduate of T.C. Williams High School.
