Congregation Sha'are Shalom will celebrate Rabbi Michael Alex Ragozin's appointment as the congregation's rabbi in a ceremony Sunday, Nov. 9, from 2-4 p.m. in the synagogue, 19357 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg. In recognition of the 250th anniversary of Leesburg, the combined choirs of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and St. James’ Episcopal Church will sing early American hymns at two services, Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity, 605 W.
