Benihana, 21089 Dulles Town Circle, Dulles, recently donated a new commercial-sized refrigerator to Loudoun Interfaith Relief. LIR’s mission is to feed the hungry by providing emergency food assistance to those in need and promote client self-sufficiency to any person or family living in Loudoun County.

Fabbioli Cellars has started a return program on its raspberry merlot bottle. A $1 refund is offered to customers for each bottle brought back. Because the bottle has a permanently imprinted label and the wine is nonvintage, this package can be reused. The pilot program will run indefinitely and will then be evaluated. Inova Health System announces the promotion of Roderick Williams to the role of system vice president for community affairs. In this new role, Williams will have primary responsibility for Inova Health System’s cultural competence division and will oversee Partnership for Healthier Kids, Congregational Health Partnership and Life with Cancer. He will work closely with community leaders and community health agencies throughout Northern Virginia to advance Inova’s community mission.

PGA golf professional Ian Grimwade has joined the staff at the River Creek Club in Leesburg, as the director of golf. Grimwade joins from Atlanta’s premier daily-fee facility, Bear’s Best Atlanta, where he was the head golf professional.

Sports Bounce of Loudoun has opened in Ashburn. It has eight giant moon bounces and is a place for parents and caregivers to get their children exercise in a fun way. The business also offers birthday parties and fitness classes beginning March 25.

Indra A. Books, owner of On The Go 4U LLC, has launched ConciergeConsole a new online concierge management application she developed. ConciergeConsole is the first all-inclusive, entirely Web-based product to serve one-person firms as well as small-business owners. It allows business owners to manage business from anywhere there is an Internet connection.

UpClick Marketing, a search engine marketing and online social media marketing firm, announces that The Good Shepherd Alliance is the winning nonprofit that will benefit from the new Web 2.0 social media marketing program called W2DotZero. Virginia Tech's Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center has added an ophthalmology service through an alliance with Scottsdale, Ariz., based Eye Care for Animals. The new offering, which became available March 4, is provided by Dr. Gwendolyn Lynch, a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist and associate doctor at Eye Care for Animals' Leesburg location.
