McLean Project for the Arts presents the 27th annual Youth Art Show, sponsored by the Women’s Club of McLean. Middle and high school art will be on display March 27 through April 8, with a reception Thursday, March 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participating schools are Cooper and Longfellow Middle Schools and Langley and McLean High Schools. Area students are featured in the exhibition Emerging Visions: Adolescent Self-Portraiture at Greater Reston Arts Center. “Varied Views of Great Falls”: Great Falls photographer Walt Lawrence will present a solo exhibition at the Great Falls Library through March 31 featuring approximately 25 landscape, landmark and wildlife images from his “Images of Great Falls” collection. He will be introducing several images that have been enlarged and printed on canvas. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 a.m. A portion of the exhibit’s sales will be donated to the Friends of the Great Falls Library.

McLean Project for the Arts is accepting entries from local and regional artists and fine craftsmen for MPA artfest, a one day juried fine arts and crafts festival.
