</b>A mural that adorned the building at 3471 N. Washington Blvd has been removed to make way for a new mural for Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company. Rocklands has commissioned a D.C. muralist, Jarrett Ferrier, to create a day in the life in 1952. A 1952 GMC truck sits in front of a store as a man points out a cardinal to children as his daughter tugs his arm eager for a gumball. A dog sits patiently in front of the truck while a seated woman looks on.

The Woodmont Weavers is an artisan group of developmentally disabled adults. The hand-woven textiles include placemats, pillows, totes and hats and are for sale to the general public. The Weavers work regular hours and are paid for their products. They welcome custom orders. Figure Drawing Open Studio Sessions. Nude model is provided, but there is no instructor. Participants bring their own materials. The Arlington Arts Center is offering adult classes in Drawing, Painting, Mixed-Media Acrylic Painting, and Photography at the Arlington Arts Center, 3550 Wilson Blvd., Arlington.
