Family Math Night for Grades K-3 was held on Wednesday, May 14 at Churchill Road Elementary in McLean. It was very well-attended by kids and parents all excited to play some fun math games. There were more than 15 different games and activities organized around the theme of Churchill Road’s 50th Anniversary by math lead teacher, Cheryl Bamdad.
Table assistants included many CRS teachers, two Girl Scouts, two eighth-graders and the sixth-grade Girl Power Club, showing the CRS community that girls, as well as boys, are great at math and have fun doing it.
