Girl Scouts from Service Unit 53-3 in Alexandria had their Bridging Ceremony on June 9th. Bridging is the time a Girl Scout can celebrate her achievements as she progresses to the next level in Scouting.
Daisy Scouts bridged to brownies. Brownie Girl Scouts bridged to the junior level, Juniors bridged to the Cadette level, and the Cadettes Bridged to senior level. Senior girls who have graduated from high school can bridge over to being an adult Girl Scout. Crossing the bridge symbolizes the girls are ready to take on new challenges and a tribute to what they have already accomplished.
