Take advantage of 1,145 acres of park and open space set aside for enjoyment of Arlington's natural beauty. Many parks are alongside the Four Mile Run bike trails and Potomac River drainages, providing a play area and spectacular view of Washington, D.C. Bike Trails

Arlington County has 36 miles of paved bike routes, offering both level stretches and challenging hills, as well as trails along streams through woodland and parks in natural settings. Bike tours include the East Falls Church/Westover Tour, the Potomac Overlook Tour, the Heart of Arlington Tour, the Lubber Run/Barcroft Tour, the Arlington Ridge/Aurora Highlands Tour, the Grand Tour of Arlington and the Arlington History Bicycle Tour.
