The Central Loudoun Little League announced they will be hosting this year’s Virginia State Little League tournament for the first time since 1986. The tournament consists of one baseball team from each of the 16 districts in the state and is composed of 9- and 10-year-old players.
The tournament kicks off on Thursday, July 17 with a private opening ceremony at J.R.’s Festival Lakes attended by the teams and their families.
Play starts Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at Freedom Park in Leesburg, and continues through Wednesday, July 23. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these free baseball games and cheer on the players.

The Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) Boys U17 Vikings Soccer team (players born after Aug. 1990) is seeking several players.
