St. Mark ESL program in Vienna is seeking new volunteers to staff its ESL/basic computer skills program. Volunteers are needed to teach, provide child care, and assist in the classrooms as well as to help with administration and publicity. No foreign language skills are needed. Entry applications for the 62nd annual Vienna Halloween Parade are now available. Application forms and information can be downloaded from the Town of Vienna Web site, www.viennava.gov, or call the Vienna Parks and Recreation Department at 703-255-6360. Last year's parade entries will automatically receive applications in the mail. The parade will start 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, on Maple Avenue. The theme of this year's parade is "It's an Old-fashioned Halloween!" and the Grand Marshal will be Vienna's favorite vampire, Count Gore De Vol. Parade entertainment sponsorships are available.
