The Battle of the Boulevard 10-kilometer race moved back its start time 30 minutes to 9 a.m. The race will be held on Sat., May 10.
Race officials are asking participants to register before May 1 to receive the discounted registration fee of $25. Registration fees increase to $30 through May 9, and again to $35 on race day.
The race will begin at the Clarendon Metro stop, and is offering cash prizes to the winners. Age group winners will receive merchandise awards. T-shirts will be handed out to the 10K finishers.
Post-race food and showers will be offered from various sponsors, and vendors and health organizations will also be set up at the finish line.
There is also a two-kilometer fun run/walk. Medals will be handed out to finishers.
The race benefits the National Kidney Foundation and YMCA Arlington.
