Patricia Miller DiGeorge, age 81 years, died in Mount Vernon on Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was the wife of the late Ignatius J. DiGeorge and by first marriage to the late Albert John Miller.
She was the mother of Elizabeth Miller Copps, Susan Miller Rodriguez and Patricia Miller Uchello; step-mother of Suzanne DiGeorge Ward; and mother-in-law of Dr. Michael J. Copps, Dr. Fred H. Rodriguez Jr., Carlo A. Uchello Jr. and Raymond Ward.
Grandmother of Robert E. Copps, Elizabeth Von Hagen, Dr. Alison Heffernan, Dr. Fred H. Rodriguez III, Michael A. Copps, Kathryn Rodriguez, Virginia Uchello, David Rodriguez, Jean-Pierre Uchello, William Copps and Claire Copps. Great grandmother of Samuel Von Hagen, Robert Ignatius Von Hagen, Grace Copps, Ava Heffernan and Molly Heffernan. Sister of Gerald Shields, Sr. and the late Jane Weisfeld Furse.
Mrs. DiGeorge will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend. She was a longtime devoted member of St. Agnes Conference, St. Vincent de Paul Society and a member of New Orleans Mensa. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Agnes Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society are suggested.
