Lee graduate Mary Yarrison, an All-America diver who just completed her college eligibility at the University of Texas claimed a bronze medal alongside Abby Johnston in the 3-meter synchronized diving event on April 11 at the FINA Diving Grand Prix.

Yarrison teamed with Johnston to win the event at the 2006 USA Diving National Championships, and totaled 296.70 points. China's Dong Jun and Lin Na won gold (310.20) and Germany's Katja Dieckow and Nora Subschinski won silver (303.00).

At Lee under Katie Juhn, she was the team’s most valuable athlete for four consecutive years, and was also named team all-district, all-region and all-state in each of her four seasons. She was a four-time state champion on the 1-meter. As a senior, she a state and school record with an 11-dive score of 486.50 on the 1-meter.

As a senior at UT, Yarrison joined Big 12 Diver of the Year Kathryn as an All-American at the NCAA meet by placing second in the 1-meter event.
