Six artists – James W. Bailey, Aylene Fallah, Judith Forst, Linda Hesh, Carolina Mayorga and Matt Ravenstahl – help put an image to the idea of conflict in the Greater Reston Arts Center’s latest exhibit. There is an opening reception Friday, April 4, 6-8 p.m. and a discussion with the artists Thursday, April 10, 7 p.m. at the center, 12001 Market St., suite 103, Reston. Three events for children and families will also be held in conjunction with the exhibit: Mondays in the Creation Station will be a Rock, Paper, Scissors program April 7 for kindergarten through second grade, and April 14 for third through sixth grades, and featured artist Mayorga leads “Super Puppets on a Mission,” a family workshop to explore soft sculpture, performance art and collaborative storytelling.
