Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) announces that the former Sterling Annex Community Center will reopen as Claude Moore Community Center in Claude Moore Park Monday, Nov. 26. Most operations will cease at the Annex location, 22084 Shaw Road in Sterling, Nov. 17.
Claude Moore Community Center, located at 46111 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling, can be reached by using the Loudoun Park Lane entrance into Claude Moore Park. The new phone number is 571-258-3500. All regular programs, including preschool and dance classes, will resume Monday, Nov. 26. Center hours will be 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Fridays and 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturdays.
Registration for PRCS winter programs begins Tuesday, Nov. 20. In-person registration for Claude Moore Community Center programs can be handled at all other PRCS community and recreation centers and manned parks.
