The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5412 hosted its annual Memorial Day service in Burke for veterans and their families, politicians and area residents. The ceremony was also memorable because it was VFW Post 5412 Commander Margo Sheridan's last as post commander. She will next be the state vice-commander.
