After 30 years, Moore Cadillac and Hummer will move its headquarters to a dealership off of Route 50, on the Loudoun County border.
Effective April 1, the luxury car dealership will vacate its Tysons Corner location and move all operations to the newly constructed dealership on Pleasant Valley Road in Chantilly.
The new facility will include a showroom, a wireless Internet-equipped waiting area, soundproof children's play area, Enterprise rental office and a parts store. In addition, there is a 35,000-square-foot collision repair center on site with 40 service bays for maintaining and repairing vehicles.
While the dealership's general manager, Jaques J. Moore III, indicated that the move was spurred by plans for a Metrorail line along Leesburg Pike in Tysons Corner, which would impede on the land where the dealership is currently located, calls for further comment on the move were not returned.
There has been no indication on what the dealership's plans are for the 7-acre Tysons Corner lot.
