Combining their 50th anniversary with the school's favorite holiday, Lynbrook Elementary students were treated to a visit from school mascot Lenny the Leprechaun on Friday, March 16, before participating in a sock hop in the afternoon. Lynbrook is the third school in the North Springfield area to commemorate its 50th anniversary this year — both North Springfield and Crestwood elementary schools had celebrations last fall.
